Be sure to install security and antivirus programs. Most new computers come with a trial copy or subscription. Make sure you understand the terms of the subscription so that you won’t find yourself unprotected in the future. In addition, make sure that these security and antivirus programs are consistently and frequently updated.
In addition to security and antivirus programs, you may want to install maintenance programs. These programs will keep your registry clean, by detecting and fixing any errors. . In addition, they can help you properly uninstall programs, delete temp files and other such activities. These types of maintenance programs should be run on a weekly basis.
